PACIFIC GENESIS SELECTED BY THE U. S. TRADE AND DEVELOPMENT AGENCY TO STUDY MAJOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS IN LATIN AMERICA

Irvine, California– (October, 2005) The United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) has engaged Pacific Genesis for a second time to conduct an in-depth study and coordinate a Technical Symposium highlighting transportation and energy projects financed by Multilateral Development Banks, including the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, and the Andean Development Corporation. Pacific Genesis will research and validate projects and invite key project decision makers to participate in the two-day conference, to be held in Washington, D.C. in early March, 2006. The conference will also feature the USTDA’s trademark “one-on-one” private meetings for attendees with the key decision makers involved in the projects.

The study and conference will feature 40 projects that represent near-term export opportunities for U.S. companies, with an estimated total value of $1 billion. Pacific Genesis will provide up-to-date project status, procurement needs, and project contacts. The research will be profiled in a briefing book to be presented at the conference. Representatives of Latin American government executing agencies and bank officials will present projects and will be available to meet privately, one-on-one with U.S. companies. This format provides
